November 1, 2024- The  World Federation of Development Financing Institutions (WFDFI) held its Board of Governors (BOG) Meeting within the framework of the 2024 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.

During the meeting, the Secretary-General’s Report (2024-2025) was presented, and it was confirmed that the Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE) will continue to serve as the president and secretariat of the organization for an additional three-year term.

The meeting was attended by Edgardo Alvarez, Secretary-General of ALIDE and WFDFI; Cyril A. Okoye, Secretary-General of the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI); Lutz-Christian Funke, Vice-President of the European Association of Long-Term Investors (ELTI); and David Denzer-Speck, Head of the KfW Brussels Office. Meanwhile, Enrique Florencio, Secretary-General of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), was unable to attend but granted power of attorney to the ALIDE General Secretariat.
