June 15, 2019.- As part of the activities of its Training and Cooperation Program, ALIDE held a series of international and in-house seminars with the collaboration of Member institutions like the Federación de Cajas de Crédito y de Bancos de los Trabajadores (Fedecrédito) of El Salvador, Guatemala’s Banco de Desarrollo Rural (Banrural) and the Paraguayan Banco Nacional de Fomento (BNF).
The training activities were designed to add to the knowledge of representatives of finance institutions, present new operational techniques and methodology, and provide support to institutions in their implementation of the latter by means of personalized advisory assistance.
Attending the seminars were representatives of Latin American and Caribbean finance institutions, bank supervision agencies and related institutions, who were given the opportunity to share work experiences with their peers in the region. The topics that were addressed were information security, digital transformation, performance of branch headquarters and agencies, and credit risk loss models.
