The Principles provide common tenets for taxonomy design, governance, and implementation, enabling greater transparency and investor confidence. By fostering alignment between emerging and developed markets, interoperable taxonomies can mobilize the climate finance needed to achieve decarbonization, resilience, and the Paris Agreement goals.
