Si bien estos factores son relevantes para el r\u00e1pido proceso de urbanizaci\u00f3n los pa\u00edses de bajos ingresos, los barrios de tugurios de crecimiento es frecuente en altamente urbanizada, pa\u00edses de ingreso medio en Am\u00e9rica latina.
