{"id":5470,"date":"2019-05-21T16:46:20","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T16:46:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wfdfi.adfi-ci.org\/?p=5470"},"modified":"2019-05-21T16:46:20","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T16:46:20","slug":"alide-executive-committee-is-received-by-spanish-king-felipe-vi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wfdfi.org\/es\/alide-executive-committee-is-received-by-spanish-king-felipe-vi\/","title":{"rendered":"ALIDE Executive Committee is received by Spanish King Felipe VI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>May 21, 2019.-\u00a0<\/strong>ALIDE\u2019s Executive Committee, consisting of representatives of Latin American and Caribbean finance institutions, met with the King of Spain, Felipe VI, during the course of the 49<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0General Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>During their audience with the King, which took place in the Zarzuela Palace, the three topics addressed by the General Assembly were discussed: the European Union\u2019s economic integration with Latin America and the Caribbean; sustainable development and the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG); and financial and technical cooperation between multilateral banks and national development banks.<\/p>\n<p>The Instituto de Cr\u00e9dito Oficial (ICO) also made a presentation on its fields of activity, lines of fund intermediation through Spain\u2019s private banks, direct financing of loans to Spanish enterprises, and project finance in the region, and its role of government finance agency on behalf of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>The Executive Committee, which leads and directs the Association\u2019s activities, consists of its chairman and ALIDE\u2019s President, Juan Curutchet (Banco Provincia de Buenos Aires), and Directors Carlos Linares (Corporaci\u00f3n Financiera de Desarrollo de Per\u00fa); Daniel Correa (Banco Nacional de fomento de Paraguay); Chesron Isidora (Corporaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo de Cura\u00e7ao); and Mar\u00eda Ruiz Delgado (Banco Nacional de Costa Rica).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acerca de ALIDE<br \/>\n<\/strong>ALIDE is the community of financial institutions that generates solutions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
