October 27, 2023 – The members of the World Federation of Development Financing Institutions (WFDFI) gathered in Marrakech, Morocco, on Thursday, October 12, to hold the Board of Governors (BOG) Meeting 2023.

During the gathering, the WFDFI Secretariat, chaired by ALIDE, presented the 2023-2024 report, where the achievements attained and the ongoing projects were shared, showing the work that the Federation has accomplished, and which it projects to increase in its next activities. Moreover, some initiatives were presented in order for the attendees to consider their analysis and implementation through alliances with global think tanks.

This meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the WFDFI and ALIDE, Edgardo Alvarez; Mr. Ilhami Öztürk, Secretary-General, Association of National Development Finance Institutions in Member Countries of the Islamic Development Bank (AD-FIMI); and Mr. Boushaba Abdelouahab, AADFI 2nd Vice Chairman and Deputy Managing Director at Tamwil El Fellah / Group Credit Agricole Morocco.
