About the Program:
The Study Tour Program on MSMEs will be held on August 2-6, 2010 in Mumbai, India. With India at the forefront of MSME development, the program aims to:
- Expose participants to international best practices in MSME development and provide a platform for exchanging of views and ideas through country presentations of various participants.
- Deepen the participants’ knowledge of MSMEs through interaction during visits to selected financial institutions as well as operating MSME companies.
- Enhance the participants’’ understanding of the non-financial aspects in MSME development through presentations and interaction with various government as well as private agencies that promote MSME development in India.
Who Should Attend:
Senior officers and managers of banks and financial institutions that provide financing and related services to the MSME sector; and officers of government or public agencies that are engaged in
the development and promotion of MSME.
