About the Program: The Study Tour Program on SMEs will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 21-25,2010. With Malaysia at the forefront of SME development, the program aims to:
- Expose participants to international best practices in SME development and provide a platform for exchanging of views and ideas through country presentations of various participants.
- Deepen the participants’ knowledge of SMEs through interaction during visits to selected financial institutions as well as operating SME companies.
- Enhance the participants’’ understanding of the non-financial aspects in SME development through presentations and interaction with various government as well as private agencies that promote SME development in Malaysia.
Who Should Attend: Senior officers and managers of banks and financial institutions that provide financing and related services to the SME sector; and officers of government or public agencies that are engaged in the development and promotion of SME.
